COMPLETE CENSUS OF KLICKITAT COUNTY, 1860

(The following information recently was submitted to us as interesting historical fact by Lois Davis Plotts, who dug it out of the microfilm files at the Seattle Public Library. It is published here exactly as submitted, and the original will be turned over to Klickitat County Historical Society, as Mrs. Plotts suggests. It is not known if there are errors in the spelling of names, and if so, where they crept in. We do thank Mrs. Plotts on behalf of our readers and the society.

In 1860 Klickitat Territory had 11, 94 population. Klickitat county had 169 people. Of the population of Klickitat county there were 23 women, 67 children, and 79 males; 14 of the males had wives and families.
