of his mother's death in 1939, he was living in Plainview, Texas. James was a grain inspector and died of emphysema. Flora and Jimmie both worked for Phillips Petroleum near Borger, Texas. Celia married a farmer in Plainview area. This information is from Beulah Wayland McInnish, who knew them.
Du STRANGE was born about 1885. She married James Brown WALLACE on 17 Jun 1922.
Could not read Mrs. Swetnam's writing and both names may be wrong. She puts a period after the Du. both on mother and dtr.
KRAUS was born about 1882. He married Martha Willis WALLACE.
Martha Willis WALLACE [Parents] was born on 25 Aug 1884. She died after 1970. Martha married KRAUS.
Apparently married a Kraus. In her mother's obit in Roanoke MO newspaper in 1939, it said that mother died in home of her dtr., "Mattie Kraus" in Armstrong (Missouri). Apparently had no issue, as mother's obit says that Euphia had four grandchildren, and this is the number of children known to the other two siblings.
George LEE was born about 1885. He married Mary McBraye WALLACE.
Mary McBraye WALLACE [Parents] was born on 13 Nov 1886. She died after 1981. Mary married George LEE.
Had two children: James P. Lee (1923-1933), and Robert Wallace Lee, b. Aug 20, 1920, m. Shirley Moore and had 2 dtrs. In her mother's obit of 1939, she is listed as "Mrs. Bee Eubank of Mt. Airy" (Missouri). Eubank may have been a second husband, if this is the same person.
Thornton J. MAGRUDER was born about 1910. He died in 1948 in Kansas City, , Missouri. Thornton married Mabel Marjorie WILLIAMS in 1934 in Fayette, , Missouri.
