Mary MARSHALL was born in 1806. She married Harrison METCALF in 1826 in Hardy Co., VA.

Ann Eliza METCALF [Parents] [scrapbook] was born in 1844 in Randolph Co., Missouri. She died in 1910 in Kopperl, TX. Ann married John William BRADLEY.

I got this email to an inquiry to the Randolph Co. list 10/99:

You are correct. I connect by way of my Ggrandfather, John William BRADLEY(1842 Randolph Co, MO,--1932 Austin, TX) who married Annie Eliza METCALF(1844 Randolph Co, MO--1910 Kopperl, TX). You know the BRADLEY's. Annie's parents were Harrison METCALF(1807 VA--1877 Howard Co, MO) and
Mary MARSHALL(1806 VA--?) and were married 1826 Hardy Co, WV/VA and are listed in 1830 Hampshire Co, WV/VA, census. Children were:James W. 1827, Mary E.1829-1839, John L. 1830, Susan C. 1832, Rachel A. 1834, Samuel A. 1837, Serah J. 1839-1840, Henry H. 1841, and Thomas F. 1846.(and my Annie).

The SEARS and BRADLEY families have another connection: my John(1842) is listed on the 1860 Randolph Co, MO, census with the Wiley SEARS family--why, I don't know. John 's father died of typhoid in 1863 in Mobile, AL.

Josiah FORT [Parents] was born on 8 Sep 1762. He died on 21 Apr 1848. Josiah married Cecia Piety HORN on 17 Jan 1788.

In the 1790 Census in NC.

Cecia Piety HORN was born on 10 Dec 1767 in NC. She died on 27 Nov 1815. Cecia married Josiah FORT on 17 Jan 1788.

Bourne in the Josiah Fort Cemetery. She m. May 30, 1819, (as his 3rd..." This is from a photocopy I have from the book, "A Family Called Fort." It is continued on the next page, which I don't have. Apparently she married a man called Bourne, and was his third wife.

Henry FORT [Parents] was born on 27 Feb 1791. He died on 17 Jan 1836. Henry married Mary W. D. Gray.

Mary W. D. Gray was born about 1800. She married Henry FORT.
