My line as far as I can tell goes back to William Terrell and Nancy Comer who were married in Halifax Co., VA in June 27, 1801. I am definite that one of their sons, Richard Terrell b. abt 1803 in VA migrated to
Wilson Co., TN where he died in Dec. 1850. His wife, Sally "Sarah" Holloway was b. in NC on June 5, 1804 and d. Feb. 8, 1869 in Wayne Co., IL. where her and the family migrated to after Richards death. They both
married July 19, 1826 in Wilson Co., TN.I am only "guessing" that William Terrell and Nancy Comer were Richards parents as the Wilson co., TN census shows him to be old enough to be his father and also that there are ties with Terrell's and Comer's earlier in VA. William Terrell and a William Comer also were bondsmen to Richard and Sally's wedding.
Would this William be the son of one of the original William's, Richmond, or Timothy Terrell for whom our line descends from? anyway, I will gladly forward to you my gedcom in zipped format on my next email as
