First very good site on Terrills. I am descendant of David Lewis/Betty Ann Terrill--via son John Lewis. Wm. Terrill Lewis collected Lewis and related data from 1830s to 1880. His book "Gen. of the Lewis Fam. in America" pub. 1893. Two boxes of his papers are in the AL Archives. Among them is a letter written Feb. 14, 1834, from Anna Willis [Anna Lewis ---first husband Joel Terrill, second Stephen Willis] apparently to members of the church. She tells them she was born in Hanover Co, VA , 1733 ,would like to see them once more but can't walk and doesn't have a horse, etc etc.---- I made copy of the letter, would be glad to mail copy to you.

Lillie TERRILL [Parents] was born about 1878 in , Comanche Co., Texas. She married HOWE.

John G. FACKLER [Parents] was born about 1821 in , Orange Co., Virginia. He married Cornelia RAINEY on 26 Feb 1843 in , Franklin Co., Missouri.

Cornelia RAINEY was born about 1823. She married John G. FACKLER on 26 Feb 1843 in , Franklin Co., Missouri.

Joseph TERRILL [Parents] was born on 27 Oct 1792. He died on 29 Apr 1837 in , Lauderdale Co., Alabama. Joseph married Tabitha HILTON.

The child, Calvin, has been added to a long list of children. I have not seen proof of this, but will keep it here for the excellent reference until further investigation is carried out by someone.

Tabitha HILTON was born in 1791. She married Joseph TERRILL.

Moved with some of her children from Lauderdale Co., Ala. to Utica, Miss. sometime between 1840 and 1870.

		M	vi	Richmond B. TERRILL was born in 1823.
		M	vii	George W. TERRILL was born in 1825.
		M	viii	West Maddox TERRILL was born in 1826.
		M	ix	Joseph Calhoun TERRILL was born in 1830.
		M	x	Doctor Hilton TERRILL was born in 1831. He died in 1860/1865. His first name was in fact "Doctor". He died in the Civil War.
		M	xi	William Carroll TERRILL
		M	xii	James Bear TERRILL was born in 1833.
		M	xiii	Andrew Jackson TERRILL was born in 1837. He died in 1870 in Utica, , Mississippi.

Richmond TERRILL [Parents] was born about 1762 in Granville Co., NC. He died on 13 Feb 1827 in Lancaster Co., SC and was buried in Taxahaw, SC. Richmond married Catherine about 1780.

Catherine was born about 1763. She died about 1790/1800. Catherine married Richmond TERRILL about 1780.

They had the following children:

Had 3 sons and, by tradition, 11 dtrs. Census records show 9 dtrs., but give no names.

Mary was born about 1800. She married Richmond R. TERRILL.

They had the following children:

		M	iii	Maldred A. TERRILL was born in 1827. Served with the Confederate forces from Alabama. No further record.

Joseph TERRILL [Parents] was born in 1823 in , Lancaster Co., S.C.. He married Martha.

Moved from Lancaster Co., S.C. to Meridian, Miss. with wife. There were four children by 1860 and probably more.

Martha was born about 1827. She married Joseph TERRILL.
