William Henry TERRILL [Parents] was born on 21 Apr 1804 in Virginia. He died on 28 Nov 1881 in Charleston, , West Virginia. William married Elizabeth PITZER on 26 Oct 1827 in , Allegheny Co., Virginia.

Died at the age of 77 at his son-in-law's residence (Col. G. M. Porterfield). Was a distinguished lawyer and his obit mentions him as being of Bath Co., VA. He was a member of the House of Delegates from Allegheny Co. 1829-1831, was a prosecuting attorney for Bath Co. for 37 years. "Pre-eminent in his profession, a gifted speaker and an able prosecutor." Had three sons killed in the Civil War, two fighting for the South and one for the North, all high ranking officers.

Elizabeth PITZER was born on 24 May 1805. She died on 20 Apr 1858. Elizabeth married William Henry TERRILL on 26 Oct 1827 in , Allegheny Co., Virginia.
