It was not certain that this is the Kate Rossiter that married George, but it most likely is.

William Erwin CHITTENDEN [Parents] was born on 24 Jan 1853 in North Guilford, CT. He married Harriet Elvira CHITTENDEN on 20 Jun 1882.

Lived in North Guilford, CT and had children: Grace Etta & Belle.

Harriet Elvira CHITTENDEN [Parents] was born on 7 Aug 1857 in Guilford, CT. She married William Erwin CHITTENDEN on 20 Jun 1882.

Her Chittenden connection is not given in "Families of Early Guilford, Connecticut" by Alvan Talcott, written 1890. But, on the same page as her husband (p. 202) there is a Harriet Chittenden, b. 6 Apr 1853, dtr. of Noah Anson Chittenden and Sophia Abbott and no husband is given for her. However, it says that the family lived in Mount Pleasant, PA.
