Talcott in the 1882 Chittenden book, says that Johnson "m. Lydia Chittenden (a second cousin) in Genoa, Cayuga Co., N.Y. He moved to Republic, Seneca Co., Ohio, and died there. Carpenter and joiner. One son, two daughters. He served in the war of 1812." The parentheses are his, but he does not indicate who Lydia's parents are, so I can not place her.
Lydia CHITTENDEN was born about 1800. She married Johnson CHITTENDEN.

Talcott in 1882 book says, "Removed to Lexington, Mass., and was clock manufacturer several years. Removed to Michigan City, Ind., and afterwards to Portland, Oregon as a merchant. Died, 1865, with a handsome property, leaving 2 sons and 2 daughters." Talcott does not name children.

He is now in his 82d year, waiting for his Master's call, "Child, come home." He has had 4 children, 2 sons and 2 daughters, of whom one son and one daughter survive him." Children are not named.
