An early Walshe family in Colby includes Robert Walshe, son of Thomas, who was born about 1465. He married Cecily Harsgek and their son was named William Walshe. William was born about 1495 and married Olive Clere, daughter of Robert Clere and Elizabeth Brampton. William and Olive's son was named William, born about 1517, who married Ann Framingham, daughter of James Framingham and Ann Forness.

A possible member of this family tree includes William Walshe who married Anne Kebill, (born in Felmingham, Norfolk). Their daughter Elizabeth Walshe was born in Colbye, Norfolk, and married Thomas Bulwer (who died in 1605).
