Will of Morris Vele

In the Name of God Amen. I Morris Vele of the County of Prince William being in perfect mind Mind and remembrance do make ordain and apoint this to be my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following.
As first I give and bequeath my sole into the hands of Allmighty God my heavenly father hoping that through the martious death and pashon of Jesus Christ my blessed Lord and savor to receve free pardon and forgiveness of all my Sins and to obtaine a joyfull risarection at the last day and as for my body to be bureed at the discretion of my Executor hereafter menchoned.
the Land belonging thereunto unto him and the hearem of his body lawfully begoten and if he should die without heare then to my son William Vele and the heares of his body lawfully begoten and if he should die without such heare then to the heares at Law.
ITem I give and bequeath to my son Carnaby Vale my negro woman Day and the child she goeth with to my gran daughter Elizabeth Carter end I also give to my son Carnaby Vale one black walnut table.
ITem I give and bequeath to my son William Vale all the rest of my Land which I have in Prince William County except one hundred Acres to John Vale being at the lower end of the track nare to George Calbards and also I give to my son William Vale one negro John called Jimbo and a negro boye called Harre and a negro girl called Nan and the first child she brings to my grandchild Elizabeth Hampton and if she should die the negro child to be his one and Fall to give to my Son William Vale the Bed on which I ly and one Chest and halfe a dozen Chares and a oval table of Chare tree. I also give my old gun to Carnaby Vele the other to William Vale and fore wooden charms to my son Carmaby Vele.
ITem I give and bequeath to my granson John Tillot one Cow and Calfe.
I Tem I leve for my two sons Carnaby Vale and William Vele to pay to my daughter Sarah Pinson ten pounds current money when ever she consents.
ITem the Bed I leve to my William Vale I give with all that furniture and bedstid.
ITem I give and bequeath to my daughter Susanna Carter my sorrell horse and one square table.
ITem I leve to my daughter Melia Carter hesre at Law George Tillot one Cow and Cal fe.
ITem all the rest of my moveable Estate I leave to be sold to the hieat hider for money or Tobacco to discharge my debts and what shall be over to he divided equally between my two Sons Carnaby Vale and William Vale and if the Estate should not be sufishon to discharge my debts then my to Sons Carnaby Vale and William Vale to be equall Pardners in making the payments of my debts.
Item I leave my Son William Vale to be for him selfe.
Item I apoint my son Carnaby Vale and Peter Carter to be my Executors of this my Last Will and Testament as witness my hand and sale this ninth day of April 1750.

I Tem the orphan child Joseph Richards I leve to my son Carnaby Vele whome is the boy's God father.

At a court held for the County of Prince William 25th June 1750.

This Wi11 was proved by the oath of William am Coram Mary Coram witnesses hereto and at a court held for the county aforesaid 23 July 1750 This Will was further proved by the oath of Thomas Smith the other witness and admitted to record Carnaby Veale one of the Executors therein named having made oath thereto end given Security for the faithful administration of the Estate on his motion a certificate is granted him for obtaining a probate thereof in due form.
