Membership

Beginning in 2014, dues for new members will be $20 the first year, for which a member receives two semi-annual issues of the newsletter, PLUS, a Timen Stiddem Society lapel pin (see below). Renewal of membership each year thereafter will be $15, for which a member receives two semi-annual issues of the newsletter.

Membership is divided into two classifications:

• Descendant Member: One who can prove descent from Dr. Stiddem.
• Associate Member: One who does not knowingly descend from Dr. Stiddem, but has an interest in this family's history. Anyone is eligible to join the Society in this category.

All Descendant Members of the Timen Stiddem Society qualify for membership in the prestigeous Swedish Colonial Society (SCS) as Forefather Members. To learn how become a member of that organization under this special designation, click here.
