• Study participants are located at the end of each line and corresponde to the participants in the three "Group" charts on the Results page. Group 1 participants are all located on the white background.
• The participants in Group 2 are all located within the yellow box above. A non-paternity must have happened with the Samuel Stidham (in bold type) at the top of the box.
• The participant "Erasmus 1" (Individual 3) at the bottom of the green box must have had a non-paternity event somewhere up the line between himself and Erasmus Stedham in this line.
• Each individual for the first eight generations in the chart are named. Intervening generations between the eighth and the study participants have an asterisk (*) in place of their first names to protect their privacy.
• As the Stidham Family DNA Study Coordinator and the webmaster of this site with nothing to hide, I'm "Benedictus 2" (Richard Steadham) at the end of the line on the far right.
• Lulof Stedham was Timen's first son, but all of his male-lines "daughtered out" in the 1800s. Therefore, he is unable to be represented by any participant in this study (or forever for that matter).
