Possible brother of Caleb is Stephen ROBERTS born ca 1813 in TN.

He is listed in Nathan ROBERTS (son of Caleb) household on the 1880

Jackson Co, TN census as an uncle.

 

James K. Polk ROBERTS (son of Caleb)

married Mary A. HALEY ca 1870.

Their children:

A. Sarah E. born ca 1871

B. Josiah born ca 1872 (known as Joe and lived in Texas also).

C. Robert E. born ca 1874

(found in Erath Co, TX 1900 and Carter Co, OK in 1920)

D. Amanda Tennessee born 1876

(married 1894 in Wise Co, TX to James Isaac WALDROUP) (found in Wise Co, TX 1910 and Hughes Co, OK in 1920)  See photo of Amanda

F. Leonides born 1880

G. Linsey Roberts born 1886, died 1951 in Hill Co, TX.  Wife is Nellie.  Both are buried in Blum, Hill Co, TX.

James K. Polk ROBERTS fought in the Confederacy and filed a pension application in Erath Co, TX 1899.  I have more info on this family and would love to hear from anyone who is related.
