Mrs. Hubert (Bert) Fischbach, 53, of 1360 Jackson Street, died at 3:20 o'clock Thursday morning at the family home, following four months of illness. The body is at the Hoffmann Mortuary, from where the funeral will be held to St. Mary's Church at 9 o'clock Saturday morning. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Fischbach (Mae E. O'Donnell) was born on Aug 11, 1887 at Dyersville, IA, the daughter of the late Manus and Henrietta O'Donnell. She was married to Mr. Fischbach at Norcross, MN Sept. 21, 1909, and the family moved to Dubuque in the fall of 1921, and had lived here ever since. Mrs. Fischbach was a member of the Catholic Church and since moving to Dubuque had attended St. Mary's Parish. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Thomas W. (Celeste) faulkner, Port Huron, MI, and Mrs. Joseph (Bernice) Hillard, Jr., Dubuque; one brother Edward O'Donnell, Norcross; four sisters, Miss Linda O'Donnell, Mrs. Andrew Fischbach, and Mrs. John McGourty, all of Herman, MN, and Mrs. Joseph Reittinger, Dubuque; and two grandsons. Preceding her in death were her parents, one sister, one brother, and two infant sons.
