i MARY MARGARET HEWLETT born March 4, 1707, Virginia, married May 1721, in probably Caroline Co., Virginia, OWEN SULLIVAN II, born 1699, Lunenburg Co., Virginia, (son of OWEN O'SULLIVAN I and ELIZABETH CLAIBORNE) occupation Planter, died 1790, Charlotte Co., Virginia, buried Charlotte Co., Virginia. MARY died Virginia, buried Virginia. MARY was the daughter of WILLIAM HEWLETT and MARY FEARNE, who was the daughter of JOHN FEARNE and MARY LEE. OWEN is named in father's will. By deed Oct. 1, 1781, OWEN SULLIVAN conveys to Chas. Crenshaw 151 acres "including the late dwelling house of the late OWEN SULLIVAN deceased" (Charlotte Co., VA D Bk 3, p. 571). There are records of other sales from OWEN SULLIVAN to James Mullins, Stephen Farmer, etc. A HISTORY OF THE SULLIVAN FAMILY was compiled 1882 and publ. by Wm. D. Sullivan 1913. In it, he states OWEN & MARGARET had 5 children to move from Virginia to South Carolina.
