First Generation
MARY GRAYSON married before 1780, NATHANIEL LANDRETH
born ca. 1760, probably Virginia. NATHANIEL and MARY lived first
in Grayson County, Virginia, and then in Ashe/Alleghany County,
North Carolina, rearing a family of ten children. NATHANIEL died
April, 1836, in Ashe County, North Carolina, leaving a will.

MARY LANDRETH born 1792, Grayson County, Virginia,
married ca 1817, WILLIAM WYATT born 1792, North Carolina,
occupation Farmer, died 1856, Grandview, Jackson County,
Missouri, buried 1856, Blue Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery,
Grandview, Missouri. MARY died 1861, Grandview, Jackson County,
Missouri, buried 1861, Blue Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery,
Grandview, Missouri.
The 1850 census for Ashe County, North Carolina, lists WILLIAM
WYATT (age 68) with wife MARY (age 58) and children CALVIN (32),
NANCY (17), HUGH L. (14), and WILLIAM M. (12). Sons, SOLOMON,
ZEBEDEE, and LOUIS lived on adjoining farms. (An AARON WYATT also
lived nearby, but not listed as a son.) The family moved to
Missouri in 1851.

Washington Township, Jackson County, Missouri.
The 1850 census for Washington Township lists BURGESS
WYATT (age 38) with wife ELIZABETH (age 28) and children
MARY (9), NANCY (6), MARY (5), and WILLIAM (2).
ELIZABETH'S parents, NANCY and HENRY HACKLER, were listed
in the same household.
BURGESS WYATT preceeded his parents, WILLIAM WYATT and
MARY LANDRETH, to Missouri. They followed in 1851. (MARY
(5) listing may be MARG (5).)
- ii. SOLOMON WYATT born June 1, 1809, Ashe County,
North Carolina, occupation Farmer, married ca 1840, CAROLINE
MAXWELL.
The 1850 census for Ashe County, North Carolina, lists
SOLOMON WYATT (age 41) with wife CAROLINE (age 27) and
children WILLIAM (9), LODINA (6), LUCY (3), and LOUIS A.
(5 months).
- iii. ZEBEDEE WYATT born November 19, 1810, Ashe
County, North Carolina, occupation Farmer, married ca
1825, MARY (POLLY) JONES. ZEBEDEE died August 2, 1851.

ZEBEDEE (age 40) with wife POLLY (age 40) and children
ARLENA (14), EVALINE (12), JOHN N. (10), ELIZABETH (8),
