Heather and Lucile enjoy a good laugh, while waiting for the party to begin.
|
But, one person missed it entirely! |
We talked about old times, like crossing the viaduct to go to school, and mentioned the changes, such as the current overgrowth at the end of 14th Street, just beyond "MizWalker's" house. And Jake and I told everyone about our pleasant experience with new-found cousins, Emmett and Virginia. Tom remembered Virginia's mother from Ouachita College - back in the 1930s.
Then it was finally time to open presents.
Tom opening his new printer, while Mary Laurel looks on. We were all pleased that Mary drove all the way from Kansas City for this occasion.
Off and on for parts of four days we had tutoring sessions, but did I tell you, Tom, that when you come across little pictures like this, they probably lead to a bigger picture somewhere else? Or, if you run your mouse across anything, and a hand, or fist, pops up - that leads to somewhere else also? Try it with the little pictures above!
