Dorothy Womack Watts, 76, of Broughton Road, Moncks Corner, S.C., a former
project manager for J. A. Jones Construction Co., died Sunday in a North
Charleston hospital.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday morning, Oct. 16,
2002, in the Moncks Corner United Methodist Church. Friends may call at
DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. this
Tuesday evening. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be
made to the Moncks Corner United Methodist Church, 200 North Live Oak Dr.,
Moncks Corner, S.C.
Mrs. Watts was born Oct. 21, 1925, in Ida, Louisiana, a daughter of Artie N.
Womack and Gertrude Murphy Womack. She was a member of the Moncks Corner
United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Guilds-Scott Sunday
School Class. She also attended the Shady Grove United Methodist Church,
Maggie Valley, NC. Mrs. Watts was the former head bookkeeper of the Berkeley,
Colleton, & Dorchester Economic Development Corporation and a retired
employee of the Berkeley County School District.
Surviving are, her husband, William A. "Bill" Watts; two daughters, Tina M.
Cooper of Charleston and Mikky Caison of Moncks Corner; a son, Loren Ragan
Simmons of Jacksonville, FL; a sister, Rose Mary Bass of Okeechobee, Fl; a
brother, Ragan M. Womack of Jacksonville, FL; and five grandchildren and
three great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends of Mr. Arthur LeGree, Sr. of Moncks Corner, SC, the beloved father of Mr. Frankie Williams of Salters, SC, Mrs. Vivian L. Gillians, Mr. Arthur LeGree, Jr., both of Brooklyn, NY, Ms. Patricia H. LeGree, Mrs. Mary L. Henderson, Mr. Johnny LeGree, and Mr. Richard L. LeGree, all of Moncks Corner, SC, are invited to attend his funeral service on Saturday, October 26, 2002 at 12:00 Noon at Moncks Corner AME Church, Moncks Corner, SC.
Interment: St. James Cemetery, Hwy. 52, Moncks Corner, SC
