Charles Jenkins

From the Charleston Post & Courier July 22, 2002

Entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 20, 2002. Mr. Charles Elijah Jenkins of Ladson, S.C. Late residence 202 Acres Drive. His funeral services will be held in Wesley United Methodist Church. Ladson, S.C. on Tuesday July 23, 2002 at 12:30 p.m. Rev. Mark Robinson. Pastor Eulogist. Interment Cherry Hill Cemetery Market Road, Ladson, S.C.

Remains to the church on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Mr. Jenkins will lie-in-state until time of service. There will be no after viewing. There will be no wake. Friends may call at the Funeral Parlor after 5:00 p.m. today, Monday, July 22, 2002.

Mr. Jenkins will be sadly missed by his daughters: Mrs. Rosemary Jenkins Smalls of Ladson, S.C. and Mrs. Barbara Washington of Summerville, S.C. Grandchildren; Monique Smalls Johnson, Natala Dionne Smalls. Galcel and Maurice Miller, Gerald, Sebastian, and Jessica Washington Reid. Also a special friend. Ms. Seretha Stroud of Summerville, S.C.
