Differences between subscribing in List or Digest mode (for Newbies)
You can subscribe to any Rootsweb mailing list in either the List mode or Digest mode.
In List mode, every post sent to the mailing list is forwarded to you as an individual email.
In Digest mode, posts are grouped together into one email and sent to you approximately daily (depending on the number of posts).
List mode is recommended for those that want to see the latest posts as soon as they occur, and are planning to be reasonably heavily involved in posting to the list. List mode is also recommended for newbies.
Digest mode is recommended for the less active person who will post/reply only occasionally, or those who already receive too many emails per day.
