• Copy of Timen Stiddem's letter, written in Amsterdam in 1651 to Axel Oxenstierna, Chancellor of Sweden, requesting assistance returning to Sweden following the shipwreck of the Kattan off Puerto Rico. The letter is written in Swedish and preserved in the Swedish Archives, Stockholm. Of special note: Timen's signature. This is the basis for the spelling of Timen's name in the Society's official logo.
