The map shows the village of Clachan in Kilcalmonell Parish, as well as the McAlester- leased estates, including Balinakiel. On the east side of Loch Kiarran (Kearran) one can see the Gilchrist farm of North Loch Kiarran, and to the north of the loch can be seen the later Gilchrist farm of Drumleck (Drimnaleck)
