Transportation Beyond the Seas

TRANSPORTATION TO AUSTRALIA  1784-1788 A list of persons convicted at Quarter Sessions to be Transported, the first six are recorded as being sent "to America", but by this time that was not an option. From Samuel GILL it is termed as "Colonies abroad", Isaac WRAGGS entry reads "beyond the seas". Not all, I suspect would have arrived in Australia, some having died before transportation.

The above items were stolen by George PARKER and Joseph TURNER both lab of Aston upon Trent from John and James COWLISHAW . PARKER and TURNER were committed for twelve months.
William CAPEWELL was also found guilty of receiving one saddle ,a breechband  and one bellyband  belonging to Henry COWLISHAW and a Tarpawling and one boat cover belonging James SUTTON. The above goods stolen by PARKER and TURNER.
