mentioned above it states the following:
Benjamin (II) Perkins (Benjamin, Joseph, Joseph, Joseph, Jacob, John) was
born in Camden South Carolina in 1803.
He died in 1868.
He married Priscilla Bryan Jumelle, the daughter of Pierre Larent
Jumelle, one of the wealthy proprietors of Santo Domingo, who was cast
upon the world by the storm of the French Revolution.
