As in all research, family history sometimes mentions, "Killed in the War." But most assume it would have been either the Revolutionary or Civil War; or, in this past century, one of the world wars.

Few can imagine just how many there have been, and "killed in the war" may take on a whole new meaning when you look at just how many there were.


Below is an attempt to list all the wars that our ancestors may have died in. It is not all inclusive, but the best I could come up with.
