Michael Atkisson estate. At Mrch Court, 1826, on motion of Celia Atkisson, widow of Michawl Atkisson, it was offered
that Thomas Waller, James Pomeroy, Richard Seaton, Richard Small and Michawl Miller divide and allot to the widow
her dower of one-third of slaves and plantation of 100 acres on Floyd's Fork. On April 22, Waller, Small, and Seaton
qualified before George Seaton, J.P.J.C. Commissioners appraised the nine slaves at $1,650.00 and allotted to the
widow two slaves with money to equalize the $550.00 [Division of land not given] Recorded June 5, 1826

I Joseph Irwin of Kentucky county do make, & ordain this my last Will & Testament-in manner & form
following (ie) I bequeathe unto my son Joseph Irwin, two tracts of land, lying in the county of Westmoreland, in
the state of Pennsylvania, one containing by estimation four hundred acres, whereon I formerly lived, on Turtle
Creek, the other adjoining Henry Small, or dirty camp, on the same watercourse & containing by estimation three
hundred, & thirty acres, to him & his heirs forever-also all my possessions in the aforesaid county of
Kentucky, both real and personal- I give & bequeathe unto my brother John Irwin, one certain tract of land,
in the aforesaid county of Westmoreland, containing by estimation three hundred acres on the waters of Pocket Creek
about two miles off the Allegany River to him & his heirs forever. (Page 2) Lastly I nominate, & appoint
James Bard, & Andrew McCullock, whole & sole executors of this my last will & testament. In witness
whereof I have herewith set my hand & seal this xiiith October m.dcclxxx.

At a court held for Jefferson county, on the 7th March 1781 the above will proved & ordered to be recorded,
and it appearing to the court, that there is danger of the estate being wasted, the executors not being present,
to undertake the executorship thereof, administration is granted Benja Pope.
