18 Sept 1848 - ordered that records of late N.B. Small, Justice of the Peace, be delivered to his successor, Isaac
Smith (It is assumed he resigned to move to Mississippi Co., MO, He died there in 1863-4.

William Webb's corner, being the same land that was conveyed by Henry Crist and john Myers to Thomas Hopewell on
Mar 16, 1821, all of which deeds and writings are of record in B. Signed - Wm Hopewell, Matilda Hopewell. WEoit
- none This deed was acknowledged in Spencer County, Indiana before JP James Wakefield by William Hopewell and
Matilda Hopewell. Matilda, being examined apart from her sd husband, relinquished her right of dower. John Morgan,
Clerk of Spencer County Circuit Court, certified that James Wakefield is and was a JP. recorded in B on Jan 24,
1824

aft sum paid by sd Small and Welch for my benefit. It is understood that if Small shall, at the end of the 6 years,
pay to sd Small & Welch the afd sum with interest, then this deed of trust is void. Signed - Henry Small.
