NOTE: Two Henry Small's appear in the tax list.
In the 2nd census of Kentucky, 1800, Henry Small is also listed twice in Cumberland Co. It would appear Matthew's son Henry, and his brother Henry accompanied him from Patrick Co., VA to Cumberland / Wayne Co., KY. This would indicate Henry, who served in the Revolution did not die shortly after the war as stated by Hervey Small.
