The old house located on the property where the cemetery is located was built by Joseph Small, another home just up the road was built by his son Joseph Billings Small. Joseph's home was later occupied by Alvah Farnsworth and Ceilia Small his wife, who are the great-grandparents of the current owner, Berry Farnsworth of Yukon Ok.
