Small Cemetery, Willows, Glenn Co., Califorina

The Small Cemetery is also named the Welsh Cemetery, the two sons of Henry Small and Ann Smiley, Henry Jr. and George E. are both buried here with their descendants. Henry and Ann Are buried in Pettis Co., Missouri. The only burial for the Welch family are after several of the Small family were buried there, therefore, the Henry Small Cemetery

The Welch Cemetery is an old family cemetery on the Mudd Ranch which can be reached by traveling out hiway #261 from Willows and turning left on road #302, approximately 6 � miles. It is now part of the Willows Cemetery District cared for by the County of Glen.

Willows Cemetery District, East Wood Street, Route 1 Box 69, Willows CA

On April 21, 1948 Nancy Susan Rawlins deeded to the Willows Cemetery District what is variously called the "Clark's Valley Cemetery", " Small Cemetery", Welch Cemetery" and "Mudd Ranch Cemetery."

There are thirteen members of the Small family buied in the "Small Cemetery."

Nancy Susan Rawlins was an heir to Nancy Small. Nancy Small died in 1903. Nancy Susan Rawlins was the daughter of Thomas H. Small and was married to Henry Grove Rawlins. Nancy died in August of 1953 and is buried in the Oddfelloww section of the Willows Cemetery. The cemetery at Clark's Valley also is referred to as the "Julian Cemetery."
