WEST SALEM - Robert “Jerry” Krynak, 69, of West Salem, died Friday, Dec. 2, 2005, at the Cleveland Clinic.

Funeral Mass will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Stephen’s Catholic Church in West Salem, with the Rev. Carl Uhler officiating. Burial will be at West Salem Cemetery.

Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem.

Memorial contributions may be made to West Salem Outreach, 80 E. Buckeye St., West Salem; or St. Vincent dePaul, St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, 44 Britton St., West Salem 44287.

Robert was born Sept. 27, 1936, in Cleveland to Mike and Mary (Homulus) Krynak and married Sue Ann Yoe on Nov. 23, 1963. She survives.

He served in the U.S. Army and retired Dec. 31, 1989, from the City of North Olmsted, where he was a police officer.

He was a member of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in West Salem and the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 25.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are children, Robert Krynak Jr. of Medina, Pamela (David) Pascal of Lafayette Township, Timothy Krynak of North Olmsted, Anne Krynak and her husband, Paul Nosek of California and Edward Krynak of North Carolina; and five grandchildren.

His parents died previously.
