Born: 30 August 1893.
Died: 22 June 1964.

His World War I service included connections at Camp Merrit, NJ, an embarkation port, where he had charge of buying fresh fruits and vegetables and supervising their distribution for the camp. After the war, as a member of the James Stevenson Post 499 of the American Legion, he held all offices including commander of the 10th District and state treasurer of the organization.
