Jacob (Jack) Silver

Jack Silver, 85, died April 4, 2003.

A World War II veteran, he was awarded the Silver Star for bravery.

He will be deeply missed by his wife of 61 years, Ruth; children, Janet and Howard; and grandchildren, Illana, Laura, Melanie and Natalie.

Services will be held 1 p.m. TODAY in the Chapel at Rose Hill Burial Park, with Rabbi David Lipper officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of V.N.S., 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron 44333. (Billow FAIRLAWN Cha pel, 330-867-4141.)
