Belle J. Barrett
LOWELL - Belle Johnson Barrett, 84, 719 Railroad Street, died Tuesday, May 30, 1990, at Royal Crest Health Care Center, Gastonia.
She was a native of Clayton, GA and the daughter of the late Isaac and Altha Williams Johnson and the wife of the late Aubrey Barrett.
She was retired as a textile worker for Smyre Mill.
Survivors include three sons, Roy, Ray and Lloyd Barrett of Lowell; four daughters, Louise Wright of Dallas, Faye Savage of Gastonia, Martha Anders and Mildred Barrett, both of Lowell; a sister, Carrie Biddy of Chattanooga, TN; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted by the Reverends John Gibson Jr. and Otis Webb at 3 p.m. Friday at Carothers Funeral Home, Gastonia. Burial will be in the Gaston Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home and at other times at the home of Mildred Barrett, 717 Railroad St.
