Regis Scott

Regis L. Scott, 87, of Lakin, Kan., died Sunday, Aug. 1, at North Colorado Medical Center, Greeley.

She was born Nov. 16, 1916, in Scandia, Kan., the daughter of George B. and Fern (Ward) Sigsbee.

She married Eugene Scott in Ford, Kan., and they had two children.

Mrs. Scott was a member of the Lakin United Methodist Church. She enjoyed family activities and her many friends.

Survivors are a son, Charles Scott and wife Judy of Lakin; a daughter, Velda Elliott and husband Bob of Fort Morgan; two granddaughters, Mona Fickler and husband Ron of Parker and Kimra Bahr of Kansas City, Kan.; and three great-grandchildren, Nicole Bahr and Scott and Danielle Fickler.

Also surviving are three sisters, L. Georgene Vinita of Abilene, Texas, Ardis J. Allen of Dodge City, Kan., and Avis Y. Deane and husband Jerry of Greeley; and many nieces and nephews. Her husband and her brother, G. Benton Sigsbee Jr., are deceased.

Family memorial services were Aug. 2 at Northern Colorado Crematory in Greeley; services were conducted by her nephew, Robert L. Deane of Greeley.

Memorial services will be in Dodge City, Kan., at a later date. Memorial gifts may be made to the Lakin Senior Center in Lakin, Kan.
