Single Ring Rites Unite McIntyres
Miss Nancylee Sigsbee daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Sigsbee, Augusta Road, Oriskany Falls, became the bride of John N. McIntyre, son of Mr. and Mrs.John McIntyre, 12 Melrose Ave., at 11:30 yesterday in the First Methodist Church, Oriskany Falls. The Rev. Paul Mills performed the single ring ceremony with Evelyn Bardoff as the organist.
The bride was given in marriage by her father and attended by her sister, Mrs. Richard Rose. Mrs. Raymond Gipson served as bridesmaid while Rebecca Rose and Cheri Rose, nieces of the bride, attended as flower girls. All are of Oriskany Falls.
Stephen C. Burton, Glens Falls, was the best man and Donald M. Mehaffy, Whitesboro, ushered.
A dinner reception followed in Karrat’s Restaurant. After a trip to Grossinger’s and New Hampshire, the couple will live at 616 Pauline Ave.
The bride was graduated from Central City Business Institute, Syracuse, where she was a member of Alpha Iota sorority. She is employed by the General Electric Co. McIntyre was graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in physics and was affiliated with Sigma Pi Sigma fraternity. He is manager of the Radio Guidance Operation at General Electric.
