Funeral for Jim W. Sigsbee, 63, of Bowie was to be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, at Carter Lake Baptist Church in Bowie. The Rev. Kevin Johnson was to officiate. Burial was to follow at Newport Cemetery in Newport.
Sigsbee died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2005, in Bowie.
Born July 1, 1941, in Navasota, to John and Gloria (Tillery) Sigsbee, he was a truck driver and a member of the Carter Lake Baptist Church. He married Illona Wiley April 24, 1973, in Waurika, Okla.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Neil Sigsbee and wife, Mary; a daughter, Melissa Bell; a brother, David Sigsbee and six grandchildren, Robert, Jaimes, Candice, Dustin, Wesley and Jason.
Pallbearers were to be Bobby Lee Shytles, John Shipp, Leon Moody, Larry Weaver, Dale Moody and Bill Parker.
