GOSHEN -- Friends of Wanda L. Watson, 84, of 2400 College Ave., may call two hours prior to the 1 p.m. Saturday funeral services at Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home, 700 E. Jackson Blvd., Elkhart. The Rev. Raymond LaBorde of McCoy Memorial Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Rice Cemetery.

Mrs. Watson died at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday (March 28, 2006) in AmeriCare Living Center, Goshen.

She was born March 5, 1922, in Elkhart, to George I. and Isabella M. (Kiser) Sigsbee. She married Glendale Watson on Jan. 30, 1965, in Elkhart. He died Oct. 19, 1987.

Survivors include a daughter, Carol Goodell of Warrick, R.I.; a daughter-in-law, Carole J. Hill of Goshen; a stepson, James Watson of Elkhart; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one stepgrandson; and two brothers, Robert (Betty) Sigsbee of Conroe, Texas, and Carl (Mary) Sigsbee of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald L. Hill, in 1997.

She retired from CTS Corp. after 22 years. Following her retirement, she worked with her husband at Furniture by Glendale for many years. She was a member of McCoy Memorial Baptist Church and life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Goshen Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 985. She enjoyed crafts.

Memorials may be given to Hospice of Goshen or McCoy Memorial Baptist Church.
