HENRY (HANK) OLIVER
KNOX-Henry (Hank) Oliver, 84; formerly of Knox, died Saturday in the Albany County Nursing Home following a long illness. He was born Feb.10, 1910 in Slingerlands, the son of John and Sadie Oliver, and was a life-long area resident.
Mr. Oliver worked for many years as a laborer for the Albany County Highway Department before his retirement. He was a member of the Schoharie Plankroaders Association.
Survivors include three brothers-Charles Oliver of Albany, and John and George Oliver, both of Colonie; one sister, Lillian Cramer of Albany; and many nieces and nephews. A brother, the late Peter Oliver, lived in Knox.
Services were this morning at the Fredendall Funeral Home in Altamont. Burial was in Memory’s Gardens, Colonie.
