EAST GREENBUSH -- Robert E. Ford Sr., 66, died suddenly Monday, February 25, 2002 at his home. Born in Chatham, he was raised and educated in Albany before moving to East Greenbush 40 years ago. Mr. Ford was a Marine Corp veteran of the Korean Era. He worked as a truck driver for Teamsters Local #294 for many years. Husband of Eva Fink Ford; father of Donna Bowen, Robert Ford Jr., Regina Boyd, Kenneth Ford and Eva Hurst; son-in-law of Bertha Ernst; grandfather of Bethany, Sarah, Robert III, Eric, Joshua, Mike and Olivia; great-grandfather of Mykenzee and Ian; and brother-in-law of Fred and Betty Fink. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Interment will be in New Rural Cemetery, Rensselaer, in the spring.
