Harry L. Sigsbey, 71, Fitchville Township, RD 2 New London, died early today in his home following a long illness.
Born in LaGrange, Mr. Sigsbey lived most of his life in LaGrange and was a resident of Fitchville Township for 18 months.
He was employed for 35 years by the Sterling Foundry in Wellington.
Surviving are his wife, Irene; daughters, Mrs. Charlotte Burt of Wakeman, and Mrs. Georgie Scyoc of LaGrange; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren, a brother, Fred of LaGrange; sisters, Mrs. Verga Westfall of Elyria, Mrs. Mary Regal and Mrs. Eva Weller, both of Lorain; stepsons, Bill Scyoc of Garfield Heights and Ralph Scyoc of LaGrange; stepdaughters, Mrs. Rita Reese of North Ridgeville, Mrs. Inez Damron and Mrs. Ann Hartman, both of New London; 17 stepgrandchildren; and 11 great-stepgrandchildren.
Friends may call in the Eastman Funeral Home in new London from 2-4 and 7-9pm Friday.
Services will be at 2pm Saturday in the funeral home. The Rev. Mike Durning of the First Baptist Church in New London, will officiate. Burial will be in LaGrange Cemetery.
