Lucy made her will on June 8, 1819. It was probated on Jan 5, 1821 in Milford, Otsego Co., NY
Named in her will were her two sons, Nicholas N. and Evert and her two daughters, Polly and Cornelia. Witnesses to the will were Evert Burnside, Nicholas N. Sigsbee and Patty Cutting.
At the time of her death, Evert, her son. was only 3 or 4 years old. Nothing further has been learned about this son or of her two daughters, Polly (Mary?) and Cornelia.
Lucy lived in Milford at the time of her death and describes land to be given to her sons there in Milford. Deeds in Otsego county might reveal when and to whom the land eventually went to, and/or an explanation of whether or not the children survived to adulthood.
