MRS. SIGSBEE DIED IN HOSPITAL FROM BURNS
Mrs. Catherine Woods Sigsbee, wife of Policeman George Sigsbee of the second precinct died at St. Peter’s hospital last night as the result of burns which she sustained at her home, 80 Morton avenue, the day after Christmas while engaged in housework in her kitchen. Mrs. Sigsbee suffered untol d agony and death relieved her suffering. The body was removed by Furlong & Woods to the Sigsbee home from where the funeral will be held on Monday morning and later from St. Johns church where a requiem high mass will be celebrated. Mrs. Sigsbee was a sister of Alderman Woods of the fourth ward. She is survived by her husband and a number of brothers and sisters.
