Henry married Sarah Temple KENDALL. She was born in 1773 in VA and died at Little Indian Creek, Monongalia Co. WV on 25 Feb 1858. They had the following children (the first two daughters are thought to be Sarah’s from a previous marriage; although they used the surname "Shuman" they were not included in the Will):
