Obituary and Will of Peter Hindle
Obituary Notice: Leeds Mercury Newspaper, Saturday, March 30,1833.
On Tuesday,aged 51, Mr. Peter Hindle of the Firm of Hindle, Holt and Hindle, dyers of Leeds.
Will of Peter Hindle
This my will and desire made on the twentieth day of March one thousand eight hundred and thirty-three that all the property I have in our trade carried on under the firm of Hindle, Holt and Hindle as Dyers of worsted stuff goods in Leeds shall after my decease be drawn out of the said firm according to the parnership agreement executed by the three partners and placed at the disposal of my wife Mary Hindle along with all the household furniture I possess to will my children as she may think fit and that my wife Mary Hindle along with Mr George Haigh, of Leeds, my oldest son,Henry Arnott Hindle and Mr Samuel Broadbent of Bradford be requested to see this deed put into execution. As witness my hand this twentieth day of March one thousand eight hundred and thirty- three. Peter Hindle

I do hereby certify that on first day of April in the year of our Lord 1834 George Haigh clerk to the Leeds Gas Company and Henry Arnott Hindle, Dyer son of the deceased both of Leeds and two of the excecutors according to this named in the last will and testament of Peter Hindle late of Leeds aforesaid in the Diocese of York ,Dyer, deceased were sworn well and truly to excecute and perform the same and that the whole of the goods, chattels and ..... of the said deceased within the Diocese of York do not amount in value to the sum of 300 Pounds. Witness my hands R Fawcett, Surrogate.
