Archer School

Archer School was located on Massachusetts Avenue to the right of the white church. The School is gone...there is a house on the spot.

Brayton School

"Brayton School is on the State Road, the one that heads toward Williamstown, but is definitely in North Adams, a little before the Friendly's. Anyone who is familiar with North Adams will know where that is. The old Brayton was torn down, and a brand new beautiful school was built, adjoining the YMCA."

"Freeman school no longer exists, but used to be on the corner of Hospital Ave., on the way to the NA Hospital. It was torn down many years ago and the lot became just a playground for area children. I don't know if it still is."
