From a reader:"Just a note of interest. The summer of my junior year at Drury,I worked on the tracks (or the section as it was called) near the tunnel and sometimes in the tunnel. We took a handcar (motorized) to and from work each day. There were no mature men around due the war. It was not much fun but we made good money. Fred"
