Dick Halsey in his"Churches in Rochester,NY" said that the Second Presbyterian Church was founded November 20,1825 and from 1838-1859 was on the corner of North Fitzhugh and Ann Street, Rochester, New York.
According to family legend and Bible Record Henry Arnott Hindle and Harriet Patterson were married by Reverend George Beecher younger brother of Harriet Beecher Stowe;I believe this to be so. In the 1838,Rochester City Directory, the Second Presbyterian Church is listed under Churches:Second Presbyterian Church,corner of Fitzhugh and Ann Sts.Rev. Mr. Beecher, Pastor.
