The earliest records we have found of Clarkes in Queen's County date back to approximately 1800 in Maryborough Church of Ireland parish registers. The early records in this website are based primarily on those registers. Note that this web program identifies as "Living" any individual for whom there is no death recorded, so many so-called living people are not really still alive! These data are also posted at: http://wc.rootsweb.com/~sharonmh . That site provides names and details for anyone born before 1910, as well as those identified as deceased. Some of the information contained herein has not been confirmed in primary sources, and I would be grateful for any corrections or additional information on these families.
