He took up squatters' rights in North Dakota before the territory was surveyed and cmae to Mosoe Jaw in 1903. In 1904 he was joined by his wife freom Ontario, the birth-place of the deceased, and a few years later he established his home here, where he lived 1916. In 1916 he moved to Vancouver, where he resided until his visit to this citry a month or two ago.
